Beyond Blue 2019 Expression of Interest – Sponsor

It is coming up to that time of year again! Unreal Aussies is coming together to do our part in raising much needed funds for Beyond Blue. Beyond Blue creates mentally healthy environments and supports people across Australia – whatever their age and wherever they live. We will once again be partnering with Just Giving to provide the framework for donations and help raise awareness of the event.

This will be our fourth fundraising event for Beyond Blue and our second in-person event. Last year we raised a whopping $5,319.69 for the charity and had over 30 different streamers involved in the event. Unreal Aussies has now raised a total of $7,920.69 over our three events. This year we aim to be bigger and better than ever with a new goal of $10,000 AUD. The event will be held on Saturday 27th July 2019 in the Brisbane/Gold Coast area and will run for roughly 10 hours. The games list is currently TBA.

We’re always aiming to improve our events. A big part of that is the volunteers who contribute their time, and sometimes a decent amount of money to be able to attend the event. Dynovnrks will be reprising his role of Host, joined this time by the very talented RubeePlays. Similarly, our casting team this year sees the return of Kitfox confirmed. Additionally, we’re actively looking for more talent in this area. Logitech ANZ has also kindly offered to put up some hardware to give away on the day. We’re also in discussions to be featured on the Twitch homepage for the ANZ region during the event. Are you a streamer looking to help out on the day? Find out more here.

We’re looking for sponsors!

We’re looking to partner with businesses interested in getting their brand out to an audience focused in the Australian and New Zealand regions to help us reach our new goal of $10,000 AUD. To achieve this, we are looking for businesses to sponsor an hour during the day where we will have your logo rotating through the bottom right section of the stream when cameras are not visible. The sponsored hour will have the logo/name of the business next to it and rotate between this view and the schedule. Our hosts will also introduce your hour and mention what your business does.

Sponsorships would take the form of dollar matching during the sponsored hour. The sponsor would set the cap on this prior to the event although we recommend a donation cap of $500 from each sponsor. Obviously each business will have their own amount they’d like to spend and we welcome all registrations regardless of dollar amount. Anything over the hourly cap would then roll over into the next hour. For example: if the community donates $1,000 in the first hour and the sponsor capped at $500, $500 would then roll over into hour 2. Sponsors would make their donation after their sponsored hour. These donations would not count towards the following hour’s cap.

Last year we had almost 1,000 unique viewers who are interested in gaming and its related products. This year we plan to further increase this by bringing on more well known streamers and talent. We will also be focusing on building hype in the lead up to the event via social media and Discord.
